CHURCH: “Who Are You?”

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. ~ (2 Corinthians 5:17-19 ESV)

Church: “Ekklesia”

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” ~ (Matthew 16:15-16 ESV)

The Unknown God: “Not Far From Us”

And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’ ~ (Acts 17:26-28 ESV)

The Mission

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ~ (Matthew 28:18-20 ESV)

The Kingdom of God: “The Cost of Discipleship”

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ~ (Matthew 28:18-20 ESV)
